About me

Nazli Terzioglu

I am a tutor (research) at the Royal College of Art, and my research focuses on interdisciplinary design methods to enhance people’s understanding and engagement with environmentally responsible behaviours.

I completed my practice-based PhD in Innovation Design Engineering (Royal College of Art) funded by the Ministry of Economy of Turkiye. During my PhD, I designed 100 visible repairs and explored the ways to encourage people to repair. I hold an MSc and BID in Industrial Design, a BA in Sociology from Middle East Technical University.

I currently teach in AcrossRCA, Grand Challenge and MDes Design Futures.

Previously, I was a research fellow at Brunel University London. I worked on the PISCES project that focused on plastic packaging waste in Indonesia. Before that, I was a post-doc researcher at Linköping University in Sweden.
